Central Park in Denver

Denver, Colorado 80238

About this Area

Denver’s former airport has evolved into one of the nation’s finest master-planned communities. Central Park, formerly Stapleton, showcases 50 parks with more on the way. There are plenty of places to explore. Residents can bike to the 80-acre Central Park, stroll through numerous neighborhood greenbelts, and wander along Westerly Creek. Your green neighborhood retreat is never far from home.

From an everyday errand to an all-day shopping trip, it’s easy to find what you want at Central Park with more than 100 shops. You can stop by neighborhood boutiques in the Town Center or plan a date night at The Shops at Northfield Stapleton. Everything is just around the corner. There are many neighborhood swimming pools and recreation areas. From lap lanes and diving boards to jet streams and shallow spots, each community location is unique.

Central Park is home to a dozen Denver schools featuring outstanding curriculums. The community has attracted a particularly well-educated group of home buyers with 60 percent of the adult residents having earned college degrees. Central Park is also business ready. Progressive companies have moved to here, attracted by the community’s competitive advantages ranging from location and economics to quality of life and access to qualified labor.

Central Park is connected to the metro Denver area by light rail. The community also features a pedestrian-oriented design rather than the automobile-oriented designs found in many other developments. Central Park is just 10 minutes from downtown Denver, and upon completion, will be home to around 30,000 residents. The community offers a wide variety of homes ranging from apartments and condominiums, to single-family residences and million-dollar-plus custom estate homes. There is virtually something for everyone.
